Package Free

Package Free provides the most sustainable versions of products we use daily - think dental floss, hair care, home cleaning, and so much more.

Their products use zero or minimal packaging and eliminate single-use plastic from our everyday routines.

Contributions

When I joined Package Free as an early-stage hire in 2018, the brand had just launched and was steadily growing in popularity. Originally a 6-month pop-up concept, it was time to transition the company into a permanent zero waste community fixture.

During this time, I wore many different hats; community manager, social media manager, content manager, producer, styling, art director, and principal photographer.

I am most proud of the zero waste standard that I created for brand shoots, creative projects, and event design.

In order of priority, items were always borrowed, second-hand, compostable, or recyclable. It was important to me that I developed a conscious approach to achieve experiences that play on all the senses and impactful visuals.

To achieve this new approach, I had to lean on our community and fellow Brooklyn-based to share their resources.
